Each single segment can be customized separately by using the following properties:

mySegment.image - specifies the name of the picture, used for segment.
mySegment.imageActive - specifies the name of the picture, used for active (hovered by mouse) segment.
mySegment.imageDisabled - specifies the name of the picture, used for disabled segment.
mySegment.imageDisabledActive - specifies the name of the picture, used for segment which is disabled and active.

Images should be placed in the Skin Folder as specified by the SkinFolder property.
